St Ives From Above - A2 and A3 Art Print

St Ives From Above is a beautifully detailed picture of St Ives. It shows The Island, Porthmeor Beach, Porthgwidden Beach, Bamaluz and St Ives Harbour.

Each beach is filled with people having fun in the sun. From dog walkers on Bamaluz Beach to surf lessons and body boarding on Porthmeor. If you look closely you might even see yourself there, especially if you were visiting St Ives this Summer!

My favourite spot, Kitty's Corner is of course on there, complete with a little black cat walking around. This is in honour of Kitty and her little cat who lived there for many years and who the spot is named after.

Walk on up to The Island where you can see the Coastguard and St Nicholas Chapel, complete with a couple getting married. There are also walkers and children flying kites.

There is lots going on in the sea too. We have drawn the RNLI boat, the lovely gig rowing boats, Wavedancer, Dolly P and all the boat trips. There is even the jumbo lugger moored in the harbour.

Look close at the sea and you will find dolphins, seals, paddleboarders and even the St Ives Mermaid!

It goes without saying that The Sloop Inn is on there, complete with people sitting outside enjoying a drink in the sun.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

St Ives From Above was drawn by my very talented husband David Farrell. I can't even tell you how long it took him, but it definitely was a labour of love. I probably didn't make it any easier for him by my continual requests to add more and more things in.

PRINT DETAILS

A2 IMAGE

The unframed A2 image is printed on 350gsm paper with gloss coating. The size is 420mm x 594mm and there is a very small white border.

A3 IMAGE

The image is printed on 189gsm archival matte paper using dye based inks.

The unframed A3 image is printed on 189gms archival matte paper usuing dye based inks. The size is 297mm x 420mm

A3+ FRAMED IMAGE

The framed image is printed on A3+ size paper which measures 329mm x 483mm

FRAMED PRINTS

Our framed prints come ready to hang, in a white wood box frame and border mount.

The frame measures 17" by 21" with a depth of 1.5" - it is really big and solid feeling. It has a safety glass front panel, and a vanilla/off white coloured framing mount.

It has metal hanging hooks on the back, making it quick and easy to get your artwork straight onto your wall (you do need a hook or similar in your wall to hang it on though).

COLOURS

Please do bear in mind that the colours you see on your computer screen or mobile phone might vary slightly to the actual colours of the print. The real life print is beautifully colour and full of the blues, greens, yellows and orange roofs of St Ives Cornwall.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Prints without a frame are carefully rolled and sent in sturdy cardboard tubes using good old Royal Mail. Please re-roll them the other way when they arrive to straighten it out.

Framed prints are sent flat and packaged up very securely with Royal Mail or DPD.

We will post your order out within 2-3 working days (hopefully sooner) and your item should arrive within 1-2 days of posting.
