This was a really hard post for me to write because as soon as I started putting it together I felt really hungry! There is nothing so amazing in flavour to me than a traditional Sunday roast dinner with all the trimmings and lashings of gravy.

The Sloop Inn

If history and atmosphere are part of the dining experience you crave, The Sloop Inn is hard to beat. Dating back to the 14th century, this harbourside pub serves hearty, traditional Sunday roasts with a side of stunning sea views.

The Lifeboat Inn

The Lifeboat Inn does a lovely traditional Sunday lunch, including roast chicken, roast pork, west country beef strip sirloin, and a veggie wellington.

Pedn Olva Hotel
The Pedn Olva Hotel has recently reopened after a massive refurbishment. It is looking amazing and we can't wait to visit it again.
Their Sunday lunches are back on the menu, with chicken, beef or a Moroccan style veggie roast.

The Loft
Sunday lunch is served up in The Loft between 12pm and 2:15pm.
You get a choice of beef, pork loin, chicken or veggie wellington served with honey glazed root veg, red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings.

Porthminster Kitchen

Porthminster Kitchen do a very lovely Sunday lunch with a choice of beef, pork or a veggie option.

The Cornish Arms
The Cornish Arms does a really good Sunday lunch with a choice of beef, turkey, pork or nut roast. Served with homemade yorkshire pudding, double roasted Cornish potatoes, honey glazed roast parsnips and carrots and savoy cabbage.

Halsetown Inn

Sunday carvery is served from 12pm till 6pm on Sundays. I've not found out the prices as I haven't been here for a while - I will update asap.

Bucket Of Blood
I've eaten several Sunday lunches at the Bucket Of Blood as it is a favourite of my parents who live in Hayle. I've not taken a note of the price (but as my Dad is from Yorkshire it won't be too much!) but the portion sizes are MASSIVE! The pub itself is a lovely, cozy one, but mind your head if you are tall!
This is a super popular pub for Sunday lunch so I'd recommend booking ahead.

Trevaskis Farm
Choose from chicken, beef, lamb, pork anbd 4 different veggie options. Served with seasonal veg, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, gravy and condiments.
And I haven't even begun to tell you about the desserts!

Tregenna Castle
Sunday lunch is served up at Tregenna Castle every Sunday from 12noon till 8pm. 3 courses £24.95, 2 courses £19.95 amd 1 course £14.95. Children under 12 are half price.

The Old Quay House
The Old Quay House does a really good Sunday carvery with all the trimmings.
We love having a Sunday lunch here, not only because it is good food, but the kids can play in the fantastic play area outside.

Book ahead. Sunday lunches are popular, especially in harbourside pubs, so reserving a table is a good idea.
